Manual Patient Lifts use a hydraulic cylinder and hand pump to lift the patient. These devices are also called hoyer lifts. Using a full body sling, the patient can be safely transferred from bed to a chair or commode. The lift can be used to pick up a person off the floor, if they have fallen. A variety of slings can be used to help with toileting and bathing.
